In this story, the caterpillar eats everything that is in his path so that
he can get the strength to transform into a beautiful butterfly. I am like this
catetpillar because just as he ate all the food to help him grow I am taking in
as much knowledge as I came. By "eating" all of this knowledge I will
be preparing myself to become a qualified professional.
Great analogy! It's funny how so many children's books really have a message for adults, also.
ReplyDeleteI truly love this story it is one that is filled with a lot of amusement. Whenever, I read this story to my students they are always capable of writing another end to it.
